Harry Cane
Kabaya Sets

Elements: 20
Figures: 1
List Price: $2

Due to his daring flying Harry Cane has earned the nick name "Hurrykain". He can perform stunning acrobatics with this little but very maneuverable airplane. Note the clever use of a plain flag as rudder.

The 3022 was available in Japan from the Kabaya Candy Company in 1998. It comes with a small bag of five white star shaped Japanese candy in the box. The inside of the box has directions for combining the set with each of 3020, 3021 and 3023. It also has a sheet with a suggestion for a vehicle built of all the sets.

As 3039 it has been available in the US in small numbers in a Nestlé Quik promotion campaign that seems to have been limited to New England. Nestlé Consumer Services has told that they was part of a instant win game with the following prizes:
  • 800 First prizes: 5978 Sphinx Secret Surprise,
  • 17,700 Second prizes: 5918 Scorpion Tracker and
  • 27,500 Third prizes: LEGO Mini-Puzzle Playsets
The game ended December 31st 1999, and all prizes should have been claimed before that date. No purchase was necessary if you sent a self-addressed stamped envelope to Nestlé. All unclaimed prizes was awarded in a random Second Chance Drawing held on or about March 31st 2000.

The 3039 has also appeared shrinkwrapped with a 30 ounces plastic container of Nestlé Quik and a cardboard hanger for the airplane. The blue cardboard bottom can be seen on the left. The rest of the hangar is tan with "Quik Hanger No. 1" printed on the top.
