Johnny Thunder has driven his specially modified car into the desert so that Professor Kilroy can examine the Mummy's Tomb. But Slyboots wants the treasures for himself. Who will get away with the priceless Re-Gou.

When the front of the small sphinx slide to the right a sledge with two spears comes down on the intruder. Using the extra technic bushes you can make the sledge come down the same place each time. The yellow round brick on top of the temple is used to rotate the sarcophagus lid which reveals the mummy.

The obelisk is hinged so it can fall down with a nice crashing sound right in front of the temple. From approximately 45° tilt it fall the rest of the way by it's own weight. But the use of a 1x2 hinge makes the joint weak and the obelisk sometimes come loose. It all looks a bit like two ideas combined (what it actually is). Whether it's a happy marriage is a matter of opinion. The car uses 2x4 bricks as axles instead of plates. This makes it very sturdy but also a bit bulky.

Recently a combo box has been discovered in New England. Besides the 5958, the combo box includes the 4229 Basic bricks and the same golden storage case that comes with 3722 The Valley of the King's. The Combo Box box measures 13.5 by 22.25 by 6 inches and the front and back are identical.

The 5958 and golden case are flat to flat in one half of the outer box. The basic set isn't quite as thick and wobbles around a bit in the other end. The 4229 has 812 2xn bricks. Strangely the 4229 says "basic" on the combo box cover, but the actual (otherwise identical) inner box says "classic".
