Gizmo is my cat. She is black and white, she used to look like a cow
when she was little. We got her from my sister. She let me have Gizmo
because my sister's cat had babies. She was born on May 30, 1995 which
was Memorial Day. She has very long whiskers and hardly meows at all.
I love my cat.
Peeps is my mom's cat. Peeps is an all white cat with yellow eyes. We got her from the animal shelter. My mom loves Peeps. Peeps has sharp claws in the back of her feet.
She and Cougar and Gizmo can't have babies. You will hear about Cougar later in the story. I think Peeps isn't as whacky as Gizmo.
Cougar is my dad's cat. And he loves Cougar very much. But Cougar doesn't like me very much at all! Cougar was born in Hawaii. My dad got her from some kids who found her in a ditch during a rain storm when she was a tiny baby. He had to feed her with an eyedropper she was so little. Sometimes he takes her outside and lets her play on the grass. But he doesn't let her out of his sight.
My old cat was Holly. She died in 1994. She was 14 years old.
We cried when we heard about it, but we can remember her even if she's not here. She was a Calico cat, which means she had patches of different colors: white, black, and orange. We miss her sometimes.
