I came to my "Mommy" all the way from
My mother couldn't take care of my
A very nice man & lady human came along
I really didn't know what was going on,
We got into a BIG truck (well, it was to me).
Oh, what a relief! I did what I had to do
We got back into the BIG truck & drove some more.
When I looked out the window, I saw a big
Well, my "Mommy" is getting tired of typing, so
It's SO NICE of you to visit.
I suppose I should tell you a
little about myself.
Portland, Oregon when I was only
four weeks old. That's quite a story
in itself. I was VERY small, you know.
siblings & me, anymore, so one of the
little humans, in the family, took us
all to a grocery store & tried to give us away.
& promptly fell in love with me.
I was the smallest of all of us kittens.
The nice lady begged the man to let her have me.
but I knew that these weren't the people
I was supposed to live with. See, I really
DIDN'T know what was going on!
We drove & drove & drove & drove...
I didn't want to have an "accident," so I
meowed loudly so they would stop.
then checked out where we were. Nope!
I wasn't where I was suppoed to be, yet.
Guess we had to drive some more.
I was getting very tired & my tummy felt bad.
I fell asleep & pretty soon I felt the truck stop.
Were we there? Oh, I HOPE SO!!!
grey house. Oh, that looked promising, since
I am grey, too (with a white bib, white feet,
& a white star on my forehead & BIG golden eyes.
I guess I'd better stop talking. "Talk," you say?
Why, of course! I speak "Cat-a-nese." If you'd
