    Epiphany

    And the dawn of thought
    - so full of darkness often first -
    breaks upon me
    and I realize that.
But it brings with it the sort of a bird of truth
and light that is so often unknown to me

    Untitled

    So it's here again, and
    Yes I think I'm sorry
'Cause I thought you and me
    Were gonna be happy

And I know it's not hard
    Still it makes me worry

I just wish you could see
    What I see so clearly
'Cause I know then we'd be
    Truly happy

    The One From My Dreams

    I never thought my heart
Would rejoice at the thought of new love
    I never thought that I
Would again feel love before I die

    You're ever in my heart
Even when faced with my troubled past
    You'll ever be a part
Of my soul, filling the barren hole

Yet though I love you, and though you love me
You'll never love me the way that I want
You're the one of my dreams,
    And though it seems
    You're here . . .
    You're really not . . .

And I know that you lied
    And tried to hide
That which you knew was true
But it seems we now agree
    And you love me
As I too have loved you

    I never truly dreamed
I'd ever truly find love, it seemed
Yet you're more than my dreams
And meant to be with me eternally

    Jealous-Heart

Jealous-Heart yearns for more, though it should be quite content
And though selfish in its depth, seems fair in its intent
Craving more than care and more than fair
Of that that's sought, but is far too rare

Breaking eternal truths it's never dreamt it would ever break
Realizing that though in love it dwells, wandering wonder leads it wondering yonder

And it seems from the past comes a hope abandoned long
Never knowing there dwelt interest within this one's heart-song
    Discovery, recovery
Awoke the love known meant to be

Love-lorn, heart-torn, forever searching for the one
Love-lost, star-crossed, could this be the one, at long last
Who will touch this longing heart

Has it found for what it's forever searched, but never truely dreamt
It could ever find this fairytale from reality's contempt
Paradise dwells in the eyes, both sweet and strong and warm and wise
Pleading eternally for Fate's good grace, released from hate

Love-lorn, heart-torn, could this be the path
Ensconsed in words to the truth that's known to love

    Dancing in Shadows

    Dancing in shadows
    I see your soul
    Wraped around you
    Like a ring
    Wraped in silence
    I seek your heart
    Dancing in shadows
    It softly sings

    Though you hide it low
And far too well to find
    I believe I know
    Now what lies
In your heart and your mind

    You cry for love
    You love to cry
    Pain is you
    Embracing lover
    In its comfort you lie

    Dancing in sunbeams
    I see some dreams
    I see your fantasy
    Dancing 'round you and me

    You're Not . . .

You're not in love with me
I know you say you are
    And you may even believe
    But you're not
    If you were
You'd never want us to be apart

I'm not in love with you
    I know I say I am
    And I may even wish
    But I'm not
    If I were-
But you've ruined that with your lies

    I once was-
    Well, twice was
    The one you knew
    And another, too:
    And olympic star,
    Swimming its way to brightness
    But it vanished
    Leaving me in darkness

I am in love with you
    I know I said I'm not
    And I may even wish
    But I am
    If I weren't
My heart wouldn't cry from the pain

    Today

    And today you
    look upon me
    And today you
    see my heart
    And today the clouds
    aren't crying
    And today it feels
    like a new start

    The Circle of His Plight

    For all our equality
    differences remain
What is it that makes a man
    want each of heaven's stars?
    All beautiful
    Yet all different
Why must he have them all
When his is oh so bright?
    And try as he might
    He cannot escape
    The cirlcle of his plight

    You've Been Blinded

    He has not commanded such
He never could, He never would
For He is love, and we're to love
    And we are love

What you want is what's the truth
And what is true is inside you
    And He's there, too
    Waiting to tell you . . .

Can't you see you've been blinded?
While the truth hides in your heart
Though your soul with surely find it
If you free yourself from thought

And you think you know what's true
And yet the truth remains aloof
For what is true is inside you
    And He's there, too
    Ready to tell you . . .

Can't you see you've been blinded?
While the truth hides in your heart
Though your soul will surely find it
If you free yourself from thought

So you lie, but not to me
You lie to them, you lie to Him
Yet you'll find if deep you seek
That He is love, and we're to love
    And we are love
    And we're in love
    Or I am in love . . .

Can't you see you've been blinded?
While the truth hides in you heart
Though your soul will surely find it
If you free yourself from thought

    Can't you see?

    You've been blinded . . .

    Three Years

Three years seems so long from this young view
My heart still sings the song from this old view
    When I first met you
    and I thought that you
    never knew my heart's truth
    Then you prove me wrong
and showed that your heart's song
    wasn't long from my truth

Three years long ago I fell for you
My heart still wants to know your heart's deep truth
    When you showed your heart
I thought you knew my heart
from the start I loved you
    But it fell to dust
    When you showed that lust
    Wasn't just love for you

Three years have now passed since we once shared
My heart still holds on fast to when we shared

    Out of the blue . . .

    Time, sometimes
    Flows like a circle
    Ringing 'round
    End to beginning
    Deja vu
    Ends anew

    Out of the blue . . .

Three years pass until you wish to share again
My heart still wonders will we ever share again
    When I first met you
    and I thought that you
    never knew my heart's truth
    Then you proved me wrong
and showed that your heart's song
    wasn't long from my truth
    When you showed your heart
I thought you knew my heart
from the start I loved you
    But it fell to dust
    when you showed that lust
    wasn't just love for you
And now that I've known you
    and I've known that you
    always knew my heart's truth
    But how long must I
    wait 'til you and I
    will realize our love's truth
