Should I join a clan?

Q: Should I join a clan?
A: YES!YES! Yes! -  Everyone should!! The only question really, is WHICH CLAN?
Need more convincing?

Pros:
  • Morgue - No more messy CRs!
  • Clan eq - The best eq, after Aardeq.
  • Friends - People of kindred mind and spirit.
  • PK & Raiding - Fun if you like the challenge.
  • Help - Clannies help on quests, etc.
  • Databases - SWs, eq, areas, maps.
  • Clanskill - An occasionally useful extra skill.
  • Amenities - Beds, Portals, Potions.
  • Wars - Clan wars, even if you don't like PK.

    Cons:
  • Clan tax - just see it as your duty :)
  • PK & Raids - Nasty stuff, if you hate it
  • The outcast fee - if you decide you don't fit in.
  • The joining fee - only in some clans like DoH.

    When should I NOT join a clan?
  • You can't clan if you're below level 16, or flagged "Loner".
  • If you hate interacting and want to play alone. (Why are you mudding then? :)
  • If you're unsure about it - the unoutcast fee is NOT cheap!
