In honor of my great friend Flash, I'm going to start a special contest here at Sapphire Weyr. I still haven't talked to the weyrwoman about it yet, but it will be great fun. It's called a canine hunt, where several canine's and their owners go on a three day journey, hunting for a rare, white wherry which was spotted just eastward of Sapphire Weyr. The canine that comes back with the special wherry will receive a cerfificate showing he's a supurb hunter. There will be many hunts, and the more hunts a canine wins, the higher ranking it will get. But until I talk to the Weyrwoman about this, I cannot plan too far ahead.
