True Story of Creation...

The Birth of the Planets...

Modern Theories...

1. Laplace's Theory : On account of high spinning motion of the sun, many rings of gaseous matter separated from the equatorial region. This was proves mathematically inconsistent as gaseous rings cannot be separated due to spinning motion of the sun.

2. Jeans and Jeffaray;s Theory : A star passed by the sun or collided with it that gave birth to planets. This seemed highly improbable as, firstly, stars in the milky way are very widely spaced, and so the chance of collision is negligible, secondly, all planets are in the same plane. A collision cannot produce a highly ordered Solar System. And it also suggest that moons must be formed by similar process, The basis of this is not available.

3. Alfevin : The sun was formed from the central part of a very large part of a gas cloud very far from the sun and all around it, a sufficiently large part of the gas was left over. This gas due to very high temperature was ionized and electrically a good conductor began to fall down account gravitational attraction. But the electromagnetic forces from the sun prevented gas from falling various heights. In this way planets was formed at various heights by condensation of clouds. Although being a very attractive theory it does not explain the special features of the planet of solar system.

So, the modern science has no clue about origin of Solar System. A major flaw in the above theories is is supposes that all planets have same mode of birth. This is not the case with Vedas.

The Vedic truth about the Birth of the Planets...

The Vedas claim that the first seven planets (including asteroids) were formed from the infant sun as a result of its internal high pressure and temperature. In this process gravitational attraction of the Galaciatic core also made its contribution. During the formation the sun from Galaciatic core a lot of matter remained scattered around. It was from this material that the last three (or rather four) planets were formed. The Vedas say that "The Eleventh Planet" (considering the asteroids as a planet), is a semi-planet, since it is very small in size and is affected by all other planets in the solar system. It is of brown color and does not rotate about its axis.

These facts are yet unknown to the modern science, but the great Rishies of India knew these facts 16,500 yrs before.

Practical Aspects...

The ejection of the planets took one after the other in series. The first planet to be born was Saturn. The pressure and temperature inside the sun before the birth of planets was extremely high. Thus Saturn was, born under these extreme condition had a very hot interior. Due to this, the volcanic activity in the Saturn continued for a long time giving birth to Rings of the Saturn. The orbit of the Saturn took thousands of years to stabilize.

After the birth of Jupiter, the pressure inside the sun did not develop high enough (since, two large planets had been ejected). Hence, the gases ejected out for the next planet was rather thin. It also spread through a large area as sun had gained high velocity away from the Galaciatic core due to ejection of planets. Therefore, the planet could not coalesce into a sphere. This is being referred as "unborn planet" in the Vedas and known as Asteroids today. The birth of Mars, Earth, Venus, Mars followed. As the pressure inside the sun dropped with the birth of each planet, each of them were smaller and nearer than its predecessor.

Special Features and moons of the planets...

The Vedas mention the following features of the planets and explains some of the.

    1. Asteroids: The birth of Asteroid belt is explained above.

    2. The planets are hidden in darkness and illuminated by the Sun.

    3. The Earth was the first planet to condense and thus the first one to give birth to a moon.

    4. The origin of Rings of the Saturn is fully explained (as above). The planet has ten moons. Nine of them have been born out of the planet while one of them is acquired from outer space.

    5. Jupiter has a "eye" which is today known as "The Red Spot". Twelve of the thirteen moons of the Jupiter are were born out of "him" while the thirteenth was acquired. The planet is referred to have a "special power of vision" i.e. it has high speed of rotation about its own axis.

    6. The Mars has unusually Elongated Orbit. This is due to abnormal mode of birth of the first moon. It was born when the planet was at its aphelion. The second moon had a normal mode of birth, and was not born within the "herd" i.e. Asteroid Belt.

    7. Twelve moons of the Jupiter were born in two sets. The first burst consisted of four moons while the next burst consisted of eight moons.

    8. The Vedas confirm that there is no possibility of life on the Moon.

    9. It claims that the total number of moons in the Solar System is thirty four. It is also possible that the moon of Pluto is devoid of spin, Hence, the Uranus would have six moon to match the figure of thirty four. modern science is yet uncertain about the number of moons of the Uranus.

    10. And of course Vedas says that Sun is the centre of Solar System.

Most of the above facts tally wholly with the modern science. Some of them have not been confirmed due to limitations of technology. While some facts can never be confirmed by science (like the order of birth of the moons of Jupiter). Thus, we are compelled to believe in divine origin of the Vedas. It is a result of direct vision of Reality.
