Story
Trunks is my favourite Dragonball Z character and I find him the coolest in the show and in the movies. Trunks isn't very mean like his father Vegeta, but more kind hearted like Bulma. The similarities I find with Trunks and Vegeta are that they both have similar moves and both have that mean eyebrow, only if Trunks is mad of course. The first appearance of Trunks is the beginning of the android saga, or the Cell saga. Trunks came to rescue Earth from the return of Freeza and his father King Kold in place of the always late cheerful and calm Goku. In this state Trunks can only turn SSJ1 and is around his late teens. The first time you see him in the shows is when Freeza has sent out his henchmen to do the damage on the Z fighters. Trunks comes in slashing all of them down with his awesome sword. You see the whole screen turn black and a bunch of silver slashes show up, it's so cool. Trunks than toys around and kills Freeza and King Kold with one blow. One slash on Freeza and one blast on King Kold to nail them out. The main reason Trunks did come back was to warn the past about the androids that Doctor Gero has created. Anyway, Trunks is the guy from the future who lives with only his mother Bulma and his trainer Gohan who has died when Trunks was around 16. So Trunks didn't want the same thing to happen to what has happened in his time to this one. He came back to also give medicine to Goku who was about to get a desease very soon. Trunks warned all the Z fighters about the androids coming in about three years and they all prepared for that day together. Anyway, I'm not really going to tell the entire story or I'll ruin it for all of you who want to watch the show, so I'll just stop there where he first came.
Super Saiya-jin
Turning Super Saiya-jin is most awesome part of Dragonball Z. When any saiyan like Trunks turns super saiya-jin, there's this yellow flames glowing around him. They usually yell out when they turn into one. Anyway, their hair goes upwards and it turns yellow. Turning Super Saiya-jin gives much more power than their normal forms. It's so cool. With Trunks, you first see him turn Super Saiya-jin when he comes and rescues the Earth from Freeza and King Kold. He was so awesome, he slashed Freeza in half with his sword while making a cool pose and looking mean. Trunks is the coolest, the coolest part about him is that he fights in style and has a sword. Gohan gets a sword but that's only when he is in his late teens. Either way, Trunks is the coolest of them all.
