WEEK 15: FINAL CORRECTING DEVICES: AMPLIFIERS

Sections: Basic | Circuits | Op-Amps

Voltage-To-Current Op-Amps.

Definition. Load Current is proportional to input voltage under any conditions within limits of load resistance.

If VIN appears at the positive input then a voltage virtually equal to VIN must also appear at the negative input. So IR1 will never change as long as R1 doesn't change, because virtually no current flows between inverting and non-inverting inputs.

Then, IR1 = ILOAD.

Therefore, ILOAD = VIN/R1
