The Roundhead Watch Threat Level Meter:
As of January 15, 2001; the threat level posed by the radical right, to the well being, preservation, security, and support of the United States Constitution, and to the genuine and true constitutional Republican Form of Government, has been placed at high. The threat level posed by the ultra-conservative radical right, to the structure of basic American freedoms and liberties, is higher than it has been since the era of US Senator (R) Joseph P. McCarthy, back in the 1950's.

With this January 2001 issue, The Roundhead Watch starts it's third year, and officially takes a more aggressive position in reporting events and news surrounding the Radical Right, aka., The Radical Religious Right [RRR], The Right Wing, the Christian right, and the list goes on and on. Much of the important news concerning the radical right and their movement of ultra-extremist religious conservatism [fascism], is being purposely overlooked by most of the mainstream media, and there is a very good reason: The Right Wing 'Roundhead's' are in strict control of the running of a large number of influential and important communications [media] concerns in the USA and abroad, and they are also in control of the power-base of the United States Federal government. The constant rhetoric people hear from mainstream conservatives about the media being liberal, is nothing but a red herring, a ruse designed to intentionally move mainstream conservative thinking away from what is actually the real truth.

Roundheads are very manipulative and efficient at what they do, and they will do almost anything to accomplish their central goal of making the radical religious right agenda, the dominant agenda of the whole culture.

Events with the 2000 Election, and the ultra-conservative partisan decision of the US Supreme Court which effectively awarded the Presidency of the United States to 'King George' Bush, are events and actions which were purposely fostered, promoted, and manipulated by the Radical Religious Right's control over the Republican Party, other political groups, and the government of the United States. The situation the right has created by engaging in this extremely partisan behavior to seize the Presidency of the United States, has propelled the United States into as close to a full-blown constitutional crisis as the United States can get without actually being into one. By the time the term of 'King George' Bush is up, the United States will no doubt be knee deep into one of the worst, and yet most necessary constitutional crises this Nation will have ever faced.

If the election 2000 nightmare has proven anything, it has proven beyond any doubt, how much of a dangerous stranglehold the Roundheads of the Radical Religious Right have on the United States, it's Constitution, it's legal system, and it's form of government.

The Roundhead Watch is here to monitor, investigate, and report on the activity of the right, and to keep close track of the radical rights activity within the Executive Branch of government while 'King George' Bush is occupying the White House.
