Old Glory!

Hello America! I'm Old Glory,
the Flag and Pride of your Country.
I came in '75 to speak to you,
to love you
and
to warn you.
I'm back in '98 to weep for you!

I can be seen almost any day,
anywhere and almost anytime.

Now America--Hear my Cry of Anguish,
for You have Trod on my colors
and Principles.
You have shamed me
with your Corrupt Politicians,
and smeared my colors
with blood uncalled for.

My surface is soiled with the rot
of Corruption--of Lies!
Dishonesty!
And total Lack of Regard,
for the masses of my people.

Where are you my America!

I came in '75 to speak to you,
to love you
and
to warn you.
I'm back in '98 to weep for you!

Where are my real Americans--my loving people!
My people that once stood firm,
that valued their Honor--More than their Dollars,
who entwined themselves with integrity and pride,
not gold and jewels!

Have you no longer time for me!
or is it,
that you have strayed far of my true path?

Are those Material Values of yours,
more valuable than my founding principles
of Freedom and Democracy for All?

I weep for you!

Where is that Spirit that my Fathers gave to you?
Where is that Courage brothers Kennedy died for?
Where is the "I Have a Dream" King died for?
Where is it!
Where is it!

Betrayed by Washington--Betrayed by you!
Where are my people?

America!

You have taken my life's blood,
now my colors fade.
You have misused me,
and my colors.
Now all that's left---blood of the innocent,
Red Blood for the mighty and right!

I am America,
I am Old Glory!

I came in '75 to speak to you,
to love you
and
to warn you.
I'm back in '98 to weep for you!

I am a Land and Government,
I belong to all the people.
My Stars and Stripes,
are the body of Freedom's Signature.
I am Old Glory.

Do not forget me!
Do not forget me, my people, my life!

Be the strength once again
and make me great again.
You are still my people,
and I Old Glory--Your Flag!

My material matters not--You can simply remake me.
Let me burn if you want--You can simply remake me.
Let them destroy me--You can simply remake me.
Let me fade away--because you forget
the principles that made me,
and you cannot remake me!

There is more to me than material
that makes me.
More than just the red, white, and blue.
The stars on a blanket of blue.

My red is for the blood shed that made me.
White for the purity of peace and freedom.
Blue is for the sky and heavens all eternal,
with stars of freedom and rights for all to see.

Measure my freedom.
Count the dead that have died to keep me free,
Died for my cause and principles--to keep me
and my masses of people free!
Measure my freedom.

From Valley Forge and fields afar
I have flown.
Over hard and not so hard times.

Return me to my place of Pride,
Honor and Virtue.
For I, Old Glory,
proudly will fly for you.

My material matters not--You can simply remake me.
Let me burn if you want--You can simply remake me.
Let them destroy me--You can simply remake me.
Let me fade away--because you forget
the principles that made me,
and you cannot remake me!
