A Short Bio

I am a Yankee who has lived down south longer than I lived up North! I was born in NYC, grew up in Scarsdale, NY. I went to Sullins College in Bristol, VA (which no longer exists - ah! Memories) and graduated from the U. of Georgia. Click on the following images for a larger version.

I am middle aged (or maybe past that, but who is to know until my end!) in real years, and much younger inside!

Hobie, Paul and Amanda

I am a single mother of three. I have two grown friends: Hobie is my Chicago connection, and Amanda is my Boston connection. A third friend, Paul, (my youngest at 17 ) is a high school senior.

Soho, Bow Bells, Humanity and Trooper (the cats we belong to) are kind enough to let Paul and I share their home in Gainesville, GA.

As a little girl, and on thru the years, I wished that I could draw and paint. Two years ago I took a watercolor class, and have been painting ever since!
