Waste Management

 

 Waste management is becoming one of the most difficult and complex environmental task the companies will have to solve. That's because:

in the last 5 years Romania transposed almost all the EU Directives (aquis communitaire) were transposed in the Romanian legislation that's why Romania is in the group of countries with one of most restrictive legislation 
the practice in that field is far behind the practice from the other European countries and in comparison with the other environmental fields (air, wastewater treatment)
there is a major deficit of trained and experienced personnel in the field
most of the companies have taken into consideration for their business plans costs far bellow than the real one 
there is a deficit of waste disposal installations (especially for hazardous waste), thus the export for disposal is a one of feasible solution on short and medium term
