Because the moral code is set by age 9 – we must start young, very young. The spiritual development must include ministry to their hearts through evangelism, to their heads through discipleship and to their hands through service. All we do in children’s ministry week in and week out must come together to form a solid foundation on which to build a life of spiritual formation. It is our privilege to minister to the young. Our young, impressionable, trusting, children are His treasure and He has entrusted their spiritual formation to us. Never loose sight of whose ministry it is and whose children they are.
