From The President:
This year is moving by fast - with April Showers in the Air, I must admit I will be ready for the flowers of May! April is a fun month though. My Mom loved April Fools Day. What a great way to begin a new month - with a little love and humor in the air! Mom would always get the goods on my dad, and he would just smile! I seem to have difficulty thinking of fun ideas, so I watch my husband play little funnies on our girls... Still love and smiles in the room! Some things really are worth passing on.God Bless,

VINTAGE EGLIN COOKBOOK
A copy of the first cookbook ever written by members of the Eglin Officers Wives Club was found recently at a local garage sale. Published in the year 1960, it is full of fabulous recipes and cooking hints as well as clever and humorous illustrations. In conjunction with the local Red Cross, who noted that many prominent citizens and former Red Cross Volunteers had made recipe entries in the book, we are in the process of producing a reprint.
As back in 1960, we are planning to utilize local businesses to place ads within the cookbook to cover some of the printing costs. Business ads are available NOW!
If you are interested in advertising in this book, please contact Ann Monahan.
