Darrell Turnipseed (915) 309-1055 (Franklin High and Jefferson High Coach) Darrell is a nationally ranked sub-master in the 100-meter dash, as well as in the long and triple jumps. He coaches the long and triple jumps at Franklin High School and recently coached a national junior champion in the triple jump on the USA World Youth National team.
		Charlie Morales JustHookEm351120@aol.com (Walter E. Clark Middle School Coach) Charlie, a 1993 Irvin High School graduate, competed and lettered in cross country and track and field while at Irvin. He was also a 1990, ’91, and ’93 Junior Olympics Region X qualifier for the El Paso Comets. He still competes for the Comets Track Club in road races, indoor and outdoor track meets.
		Lenny Jurado epcomets@yahoo.com (Irvin High Coach) Lenny, a 1996 graduate of Irvin High School, went undefeated in the 110m hurdles his last two years of high school. He was the district champion in the 110m hurdles in 1994, ’95 and ’96. A former Junior Olympics Nationals qualifier in the 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, the 4×100m relay and the 4×400m relay. He also has a communications degree from UTEP.
		Edgar Mobley - (915) 355-2899 (Irvin High Coach) While at Canyon Hills Middle School, Edgar set a city record in the 100m when he ran an 11.23. He then made the Irvin varsity track team as a freshman in 1995. In 1998, he was district champ in the 200m, 4×400m relay and 4×100m relay. That same year, he set meet records in the 200m at the Franklin Invitational and Bowie Invitational by running 22.08 and 21.72, respectively. He also qualified for the Junior Olympic Nationals in the 200m, 4×400m relay and 4×100m relay.
		David Jackson (All sites) David is a national sub-masters bronze medallist in the 3,000m steeplechase. He helps with the distance runners.
