Closing Night Curtain Call
(note that Lada Boder was on as Yolanda for the final show)

That's Natascia A. Diaz on the far right with the cast on her arm...which would be why she was not on as Yolanda. A shame. Natascia is wonderful and I would have loved to see her one last time.

For all you RENT fans...That's Yassmin on the left of Marc Anthony (white shirt)...
Cast members' comments on the show closing from the Daily News:
"Chorus member Yassmin Alers said of the closing announcement, 'We weren't very surprised, we were just very, very disappointed.' "
"A bitter Raymond Rodriguez, who plays gang member Angel Soto, suggested there was an ethnic element to the crippling of the show. 'Its a Latin thing, and it just didn't go over,' he said."

Thanks for stopping by... "The Capeman" could have used the support of alot more people. It was a wonderful show and it did have many faithful fans for its short run, myself included. My friend Christina and I have seen it eight times (mere compared to our 40-plus times at RENT) and love it. And to those who say that murder is not entertainment...get over it. It's a Broadway musical for gods sake. That's all it is, and a fine one at that. I hope all the imbeciles who protested it and criticized it are happy now.
