The OTR racing team was born out of my passion for rallying. I first got interested in rallying back in 1987, the year when I first saw a rally (Défi Ste-Agathe). In 1990, while living in Italy, I got to see many rallies, including the start of the Rallye de Monaco. Ever since, I've been dreaming of car racing and especially rallying. I got started in racing in 1992. I was then Stock-car racing in St-Eustache. I was racing in the four cylinder class with a Honda Accord. I was taking care of all the work that had to be done myself. After 3 seasons, I stopped because I still wanted to rally, and stock-car was not going to take me there.

        I then met Olivier, we started talking about rallying. I wanted to drive and he was interested in co-driving. So this is where we're at, the OTR Racing Team consists of a driver, Thierry Champoux, a co-driver, Olivier Barbès, and lots of work.
