Messier by Date

M 8
in Sagittarius

Here we present the Messier catalog in the order of "top date" and it's valid for time 0.00. That is the moment in which you have less spanning atmosphere and less light pollution. The dates shown have the same meaning of Jun 21 for the Sun in northern hemisphere, that's the day in which the Sun is at the higher point in the sky. For example, if you want look for M45 - Pleiades (Tau) at their best, you must choose Nov 24 (time 0.00). Time 0.00 is a datum-point but, as explained in Constellation Time Table, you can find the Object in the same position the day after 4 minutes earlier (or the day before four minutes later) and so on.
Any case don't care: even if the dates are astronomically accurate there is no substantial difference seven days earlier or later.
