M 16

The nearest is decl. value to the parallel value you live on, the nearest the Messier object will be at Zenith, straight on your head, at the date shown. The difference between the two values indicates how far is Messier object from Zenith.
For an enough watching the Object must be at least at 5° Altitude (in dark nights), that means that only people living between 51°N and 15°S can view ALL Messier Object standing home. Lucky people living on 18°N parallel.
