Fiona is dead, killed when Amber Castle exploded, before the Great Plague set in. She was the best mind in Amber, and a great sorceress. She is mourned by those who knew her. Those who murmured she was responsible for the lingering death of Felix, son of Julian, and a murderous attack on Jesssica, are now silenced in respect, and the certain knowledge that Julian will kick in their heads if they say anything out loud.
