Poor Jess. An innocent Amberite is almost a contradiction in terms. Don't worry. She isn't any more. She met her relations, and they stomped on her hopes and broke apart her world, and when she wondered why, Hazard said, "Welcome to the family."
She was engaged to William, but then she was seduced by Moradin, who left her literally holding the baby. She and William stayed together for a while, but then the truth came between them in a horrible way. They discovered they were both children of Corwin.
Jessica later accused Corwin outright of having an affair with Dierdre, William's mother, not realising how closely they were related. Corwin was angry to say the least. Jessica recovered, but Corwin himself claims to have no memory of what he and Dierdre did.
Jessica's daughter by Moradin is called Aurora. Since then, she has had three others. Benedict has fathered two, and Crowley is the father of the other. All are boys.
Jessica recently disappeared, and is believed dead. This coincided with a murderous attack on Benedict, which nearly saw the great man six feet under.
Her Crowley-given curse: "You will always be a usurper, and you will always know it."
