A huge sprawling mass of stone that took ten thousand years to built and ten minutes to destroy. Castle Amber was seated high on lofty Kolvir, where it looked over the seas and mountains of Amber and down into the vale of Garnath. Even the ruins are impressive, for millions of tons of stone crashed down a mountain, narrowly avoiding Corwin's Stair and slewing into the sea just North of the harbour.
