first year is always a learning experience. And it is an experience
that Dawn, Michelle and I will never forget. |
| We
rode with BIC our first year. Our group took 2 greyhound buses to
the start. This should have tipped us off to the experiences we were
about to have. |

A list
of a few things that went wrong:
- Tornado sirens
first night
- Our tent was NOT
water proof and everything got soaked. ("Dawn, are your feet wet?")
- Campgrounds that
were miles upon miles away from everything
- Campgrounds in
the middle of fields with no shade
- Getting up at
4 a.m. and not getting to camp until 5 p.m.
- More rain....more
