This is my life...I game therefore I am. (I have no idea how to say that in Latin) This is one of the many things I do that suck away all of my free time. Some of the others are work, the SCA, acting, my friends, and my wonderful husband. Oh, and cross-stitch. Can't forget cross-stitch.
In any case, gaming is what I do in most of my free time. By gaming I mean either playing RPGs (role-playing games) or card or board games. RPGs are games where you have a character, and you have a scenario, and you put your character through the scenario. In general, you role dice to figure out if you're successful. It's not guaranteed. Card games are games you play with cards. Duh! These are games like Bridge or Hearts. You can play them with standard 52 card playing decks, or with a special deck made for that game. Board games are games you play with boards. Not 2x4s...cardboard playing boards. Usually you have pieces which you move around the board, and the first person to answer all the questions, or move your piece to home, or whatever, wins.
So there are different types of games. Duh! And there are probably more type of games, but these are the ones I devote lots of time to... More time than I can afford occasionally...
