Teacher Resources

This page is designed to provide information and extra resources to teachers who are teaching English Language Arts in Manitoba or interesting in teaching a unit on Genocide.  This activity falls into a unit I developed that looks at genocide and the Holocaust in particular.

The following links are to the online Manitoba S4 ELA - Comprehensive Focus Curriculum.  The Specific Learning Outcomes (SLOs) identified are a sampling of those that are met by the Genocide research assignment.

SLO 1.2.4

SLOs 3.1.4, 3.2.3, 3.3.2

SLOs 4.1.2, 4.2.5, 4.4.1

The technology outcomes laid out by Manitoba Education and Training's Information Technology  Literacy Continuum (ITLC) met by this research assignment are linked below.  Because this project is designed for a Senior 4 class, the expectation is that students are working at the Application and Extension Stage.

4.3.5
