Well, well! You visited this page after all! It's so nice to see someone actually caring who is behind the brilliant mind of a website you enjoy. That is, if you enjoy this site. Well, this site was created by a team of three individuals in a group called Clockwork Blue. And, well, we're the minds behind Clockwork Blue. We're debating making our own pages for ourselves for this site, but who wants to go through all that? So let us introduce ourselves. BTW, for fun, we took the spark's personality test each and are posting our results by our names. Why don't you go take it, and see if you're compatible with us?
This introduction was written by Richard, and later debated and approved by all.

What is Clockwork Blue?
Clockwork Blue is a group made up of three artistic members who have strong ties to eachother through friendship and relation. We got together because we have something to say and know that in the future anything can happen, and that in order to keep our close connection and benefit eachother, an organization like this is useful. Clockwork Blue deals primarily with the media. News articles, comics, short stories and publishing. We have a potential new member too who is heading in the advertising direction. We're a non-profit organisation aside from our occasional mowing of the neighbour's lawn for Icee funds. We just want to create.

Do you guys stand for anything at all?
We firmly believe in free speech. Some of us come from countries that have experienced government opression and censorship, and while we are not anarchists, we don't believe any government has a right to take from us what should be rightfully ours, such as freedoms of communication. Though our ideas on controversial issues and political ideologies may vary per member, there are some things we use as our code:
Anything goes. If we want to express our opinions, we will, even if it pisses some people off.
Information should be accessible to all. That means we try to avoid using strong or offensive language and support what we express. Of course what is and isn't acceessible to everyone depends on environment, so don't complain to us if you disagree with our form of expression. Sorry about that, but you as a viewer need to have an open mind.
We are very liberal. (not politically, though: two of our members are at least half conservative) That is, we believe race, sexual orientation, creed, sex, and social status have nothing to do with what makes a person. What we don't like though (and we're going to piss some people off here) are extremists. People who go overboard and over-activists tick us off, and we tend to get pushy against them on political issues even if we agree with them. Sorry, but go find somewhere else to picket.
On the same note as above, what you have to understand is that's what right for you or me isn't neccesarily right for someone else. While we don't like some ideologies or thoughts on the world, we don't go fight against them. Those ideologies are right for someone, and it's unfair that our beliefs should hinder their development as individuals. So complain all you like: just don't go making laws against them.

Who is behind Clockwork Blue?
 The Boys.
Why do we call ourselves that? Well, that's because, really, that's who we are. Richard and Viscay. That's how people refer to us, anyway.
Richard is the leader of the group. That is, he makes all the final decisions, as long as it's okay by Viscay and Riki. A handsome, available and very gay Taurus, Richard is responsible for most HTML work and summary sketches. He's in University now studying to be a game programmer with a minor in modern languages. Richard is from Prague in the Czech Republic, and speaks Czech, Russian, German and English. He idolizes Smashing Pumpkins and Phish, and his goal in life is to hack into the Pentagon and demand World Peace.
In Card Captor Sakura, Richard looks most like Clow Reed with Brown hair, right down to the tall, thin, studious image. He's most like Fujitaka because of the computer, Tomoyo for the camera and Yamazaki for the useless trivia. He likes Eriol because 'he's got the whole mastermind thing going on, and is only four feet tall'.
Viscay is the youngest of the group. He's a Leo-born sophomore in high school from Kenora, Canada and speaks French, German, Greek and English. Viscay is interested in everything and is responsible for most of the research for the website. He wants to be a Literature teacher, like his father, when he gets through with schooling, and writes for his school newspaper. He describes himself as very quiet and omniscient, which we pretty much agree with. He's also a supermind who has plans to take over the world one day through music. (He plays both piano and Flute very well.)
Viscay looks very much like Eriol Hiragizawa, with the dark, mushroomed hair and glasses (rather like Harry Potter). He also has the bright blue eyes. He's most like Eriol in the soft-spoken-ness, like Shaoran in the temper and Rika in the secret crush department. Viscay likes Eriol because he's polite and talented, but with a streak of evil and a hidden personality. That's just cool.
The Girl.
Why? Because there's only one of them. This is Riki, the girl.
Riki is the artist of the group. She deals mostly in design and content, and does the most editing to the writing of the pages. She's a freshman in University with an International Marketing major and a minor in Japanese, though her intent is to go to Japan, teach English at a high school and draw manga for a living. Riki is a scorpio from Hungary and speaks Hungarian, English, Japanese, German and Spanish. She descibes herself as 'jack of all trades, master of none', which she is and we agree with pretty much except her mastery of the media arts.
Riki looks most like Nadeshiko with slightly shorter hair which changes colour now and then. She's the most like Eriol than any of us, that is, she does everything perfectly like he does: Skiing, drawing, piano... etc..... besides cooking. PLUS she has that 'sweet on the outside rather evil on his inside' personality. On the other hand, she has Li's indecisiveness and Sakura's heart. She likes Eriol because not only is he adorable and cool, but she falls for dark guys with glasses and English manners. Typical.

What about this page?!
Eriol Ennui was created for the purpose of entertainment only. We express strong and entertaining opinions especially with the purpose of riling you up or making you laugh, just so we get a reaction. We don't want you to be bored out there. We chose Eriol Hiragizawa as the theme of this page because our current anime obsession is Card Captor Sakura and we all agree that Eriol is the coolest character (except Viscay, who is torn between Eriol and Shaoran). Blue is the main theme colour partically because it is Eriol's theme color but also because of winning two-to-one on a vote against purple.
Images on this page were either drawn or edited by Riki. Content and HTML programming was written by Riki and Richard. Research and content was compiled by Viscay and Richard. And it was all Viscay's idea.
