 As a rule in the media industry of Japan; if you're famous, you can perform. If you're good looking, you can perform. If you can sing, you can act, and if you can act you can sing. It matters not whether you can't do any of those things, therefore among the brilliantly talented there are always those which make you want to sigh and wonder who they slept with to get the job. One of the interesting things about this drama is, among the main actors, there are none of those.

Unfortunately, as a part of the atmosphere, the drama is filmed in dark matte lighting, making many faces fuzzy in screen shots. All the pictures here are screen shots from the actual drama, since an actor's appearance can change from character to character: see the link below for another image of Doumoto. Takano Tatsuro - The main character and younger brother of Teru. He's depicted as a rash, cold-hearted jerk who is given the role of caring for his brother. He works as a sort of street vendor, street boxing for cash in order to pay off a debt, as it turns out, for a friend. |

Takano Teru - Tatsuro's older step-brother, who suffers from an autism. Therefore, though he can't speak very well and seems rather distant, he finds words and phrases he likes and repeats them numerous times. He's very talented and has a strong sense of logic, masked by his dull appearance. |

Yoshii Tamaki - Tetsuro's kind-hearted and lively girlfriend. She puts up with a lot and is the cheeriest optimist I've ever seen, happy to care for Teru and understand the boy. She works as an assistant on a cooking show, the unfortunate scapegoat for everything that goes wrong. |
