These are a few poems that have touched me. I'm not very good at poetry, Like so many of you are.. These poems have said what I was feeling and going through in these past few months. Poems Have helped me get though the toughest days.
PENNIES FROM HEAVEN
I'm like a penny, not a bad one.
A very bright one, Remember, I'll always turn up. When ever you find a penny anywhere in the years to come, you pick it up and say, "There's Ernie"!
Here's a penny, take it. It is the first of many. Keep it for luck, dear hearts. In time you will have a thousand reminders that I'm telling you how much you are loved.
I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground,
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.
Found pennies come from heaven
That's what my Grandpa told me,
He said Angels toss them down.
He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down.
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.
so don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed you.
