Just know that my child was alive
Just know that my child died a horrible death in front of me
Just know as any parent would, I did my best to save her
Just know I did fall short
Just know that you don't "know what I mean"
Just know that you can't know "how it feels"
Just know that I want to talk sometimes but can't
Just know that I have some pain you can't feel
Just know that God willing you will never be able to feel how I feel
Just don't tell me you can imagine or know
Just know that you don't know
Just know that I need you there anyway.
