The ship sets sail for Bassla. As it gets out into deeper water, Raidly informs you that this is ocean is known as the Candaz Entrada. The trip seems to be going quite smoothly. Then, one dark night you are awakened by the sound of gun-fire. You jump out of bed and run out onto the deck.
Another ship is moored up against yours. Its a pirate attack! Even as you watch, your ship's sailors are overwhelmed. Suddenly, you notice Raidly and the captain tied to one of the masts. Ahh! A pirate you hadn't noticed leaps out of a corner and grabs hold of you. Several of his fellows jump to help him. Together they drag you towards the mast. One particularly burely man stops them just short of it. "This one will be the first to walk the plank!" he exclaims. In short order you find yourself with hands tied standing on a plank out over the water. Desperately you try to think of something.
Suddenly, you remember the seashell Evend gave you at the beggining of your journey. You sneak it out of your pocket, and rub it vigourously. Time and space seem to lurch around you...
