You near the way station, and realize with a start that there are already several other caravans there. A small city of tents are pitched around it. It has been weeks since you last met with people outside your own caravan, and you feel a bit bemused by it.
YiShara decides to camp at the way station for three days. Both the humans and the animals need the rest. You spend the days playing in the Candaz Teyval, and sleeping in your low white tent. You also met several people from the other caravans. There are a couple smaller caravans, and two other major caravans here right now.
Both of the other major caravans invite you to join them, and on the morning that YiShara announces it's time to leave, you find yourself suddenly faced with a decision.
One of the caravans, led by a man named Moiren, is headed to the north-west. While they, too will be leaving the Candaz, the Gor Bant is said to be less baren in that direction, and even to have a few small rivers. Another caravan, lead by one Clasiea, will be continuing to following the Candaz south. It will be in the Gor Bant longer than the others, but will be by water the whole time. And of course Yishara's caravan, which you've spent so much time with, will be going North-east through the waterless Gor Bant.
You can go northwest with Moiren, south with Clasiea, or northeast with YiShara. Or, you can go back.
You are traveler number to come here.
