The EP03 coded keyboard was designed to be able to substitute an elettromechanical command (key selector) with a more sophisticated and reliable system. Elettromechanical systems give a very limited protection, because a short circuit on the wires determine the command execution.
With EP03 it's possible to substitute the key selector without modify the existing wires.
EP03 kit consists of 2 units: an external keyboard module, and an internal decoder module.
EP03 may be powered with direct or alternating supply, from 12 to 24 Volt.

Membrane switch in a metallic support.

Very high number of combinations: 10.000.000.000 (ten billions).

Choice length of code from 1 to 10 digits.

Two channels, that is two different commands from the same keyboard.

Non volatile codes memory.

Way of activating relays easy to programming.

Decoder unit in a plastic case.

Up to three keyboards on the same decoder.

Code transmission on power supply's wire of keyboard or keyboards.

Output relays under international safety law.
