Activities |
Since incorporation
The Andes Group Inc. has organised a range of activities including art
exhibitions, Spanish classes and a Spanish cross culture course, Spanish
in Action, developed and implemented in the local libraries of the Stirling
Council in Western Australia. An on-going information service on
Latin American countries for travelers and business people and referral
services for the local Australian Latin-American community were established.
We have also been involved in training and industry programs in Western
Australia. |

Activities |
Our major
activities are:

The development of a program containing
Web pages designed for the learning of the Spanish language, Spanish
for the Independent Learner y Spanish
Step by Step. The first site is a Web site that guides the
learning of Spanish using the Internet. The course efficiently makes
use of on-line facilities and provides instruction on how to organise
independent learning utilising the Internet and local resources.
The second site is an on-line Spanish course para the Internet users.

Fostering the activities of the Latin
American community in Western Australia in areas complementing the objectives
of the Andes organisation.

The support of Australian Latin-American
cultural activities and the promotion of both cultures.

Fostering Spanish cultural circles with
the purpose of promoting the language.

Supporting the establishment of Language
Centres in the Local Libraries in Western Australia.

Development of a Network to provide services
that facilitate cultural and commercial activities between Australia and
Latin-American countries and other countries that require services in English
or Spanish.

Offering the individual services of our
Network Members where appropriate to Australian and overseas inquirers.
