Dad’s Pictures
All these pictures were created during the late 60’s and early 70’s. I can remember my dad sitting in his car making sketches during his lunch break from the many building sites he worked on during this period. He would stay up late into the night intricately detailing each one.
He went into business with a partner who was a printer and did quite well. We used to have to fold Christmas cards and notelets by the thousands at home.
Later, my mother filled orders for framed prints from local shops but there was never enough demand to justify continuing with it.
This collection is from that period. Some of them are still in stock and we have the plates for most of them too. Maybe one day someone will start to market them again.
