"Behemoth, GO!" I shouted as I hurled the ball about thirty feet away from Articuno. The ball slammed off the ground and opened in a brilliant burst of red and white light. Behemoth materialized with a menacing glare in his squinting eyes. Articuno quickly snapped its head around to evaluate the new threat. In a majestic display worthy of poetry, Articuno spread its beautiful blue wings and extended its flight feathers. The icy bird leapt off the frozen column and began rapidly soaring toward Behemoth. It was time to act.

"Behemoth!" I shouted into the transmitter. "Blizzard attack, NOW!" Many people wonder how Normal type Pokemon like Snorlax can sometimes learn special moves of another type, like Ice or Water attacks. They're just not thinking clearly enough. It's all about improvisation. As I commanded Snorlax to use Blizzard, he reared back, opened his gaping, horrible mouth unnaturally wide, and bellowed an eardrum-shattering blast of sound that resonated throughout the cavern.

The result was much like an ice storm. Huge spears of ice, stalactites four feet long, began assailing everything within reach. The veritable missiles streaked down, crashing and shattering on the ground. This is what I meant by "improvisation." Know how and when to execute an exotic move, and it CAN be done.
