Although Eric Close has portrayed a variety of film roles, it is through his television work that he is most famous! Starting with “Sisters” and “Santa Barbara” in the eighties and early nineties, Eric has gone on to portray the main characters in both “McKenna” (as Brick McKenna) and Dark Skies (as John Loengard). More recently, Eric took the central role in the hit US series “Now and Again”. Eric was born May 24th 1967 in Staten Island, New York. He spent most of his childhood, however, in San Diego, and graduated from USC in 1989 with a BA in communications. It was a stage role, in Rat Songs, that brought him to the attention of an agent.
