The Campaigns | ||||||
Eurotia 1: ( Circa: 1985 ) The Siege and Sunder of Otain Players: Gary Farney (Gareth Brightflame) Dan Reynolds (Shylin Telva) Synopsis: Gary and Dan were my first players in my first D&D campaign. Eurotia really didn't exist in the same format as it does today. It was just Dunador at the beginning. Later I wrote a huge module where Otain attacks and Gareth and Shylin go to assassinate him with a sword called The Glacial Mist. They got very powerful by the end, and are now legends in the land. I named them "The Elves of Prophecy" over a decade later. Eurotia 2: ( Circa: 1989 ) March of Volerad Players: Albert Lahrman (Vargas Xavier) Shawn Carnes (Graccus Spirimyte) Chris Fitzpatrick (Basil Hoddypeak) Anthony Fitzpatrick (Percival Gullyleach) Dan Reynolds (Maina Thallion) Rich Perry (Lorithalin Dorinthallus) Gary Farney (Thanatos Gloomheart) Brian VanSkyock (Valley Con Sharush) Dave Houck (Bregga) Holly Huff (Dorina Hoggsgiver) Mike Davis (Alphonse Briarwood) Synopsis: This campaign lasted for years and had players move in and out of the story all the time. They called themselves "The Brotherhood of the Iron Star". The culmination of the campaign was a journey into "The Dark" to disrupt the Drow in their attempt to conquer the surface lands with the help of the evil city state of Volerad, in the Cover Fellowship. This was a GREAT group of roleplayers. Eurotia 3: ( Circa: 2001 ) The East Players: Matt Owen (Grindall Oskar) Danni Drury (Tarlianna) Chris Crosley (Vel Dargo) Al Placette (Diego) Brent Blackwell (Virgil) Eric Reitz (Logan) Albert Lahrman (Kadus Devasa) Brian VanSkyock (?) Steve Horton (?) Rich Perry (Lorithalin Dorinthallus) Synopsis: Another GREAT group of roleplayers. This was my first campaign using the 3rd Ed rules for Dungeons and Dragons. This campaign took place in the evil eastern Empire of Otain. The plot revolved around the four weapons that killed Otain: The Glacial Mist, The Mace Of Izen'lor, Souldrinker, and Forillin The Elven Lance. An evil group of mages called The Gold Cabal thought that if one were to gather all four weapons together, they could bring Otain back from the dead to rule again. The players thwarted them. Brian and Steve only played in a couple sessions and I have forgotten their character's names. Eurotia IV: ( 2003 - 2006 ) The World Sparks Players: Albert Lahrman (Gwynfor Uldravia, The Black, Uhrdanson) Allen Thomas (Simon, Son of Simon, Wyvernslayer) Brian VanSkyock (Quine Brottor Ungart) Brent Blackwell (Adelmo, The Younger & Fransisco) Eric Reitz (Darmus, Larick & Targus) Chris Fitzpatrick (Philo & Cavellion) Josh Jackson (Rilley Dartanian) Travis Dunbar (Ichthius Allevaliel) Synopsis: This group took a lot longer to gel than some of my other groups. Players came in and out, and took a long time to develop their characters to a playable level. Darmus, Philo, and Adelmo were very unmotivated to save the world. And that was exactly what was before them. A group of Demons called "The Brotherhood of Darkness" wishes to release the seven World Sparks onto the land, bringing a time of darkness never before seen. Eurotia V: ( 2004 - 2006 ) The Chaos Lands Click Here for Group Page Players: Derek Snook (Urthona Kikacha) Albert Lahrman (Nathaniel Xavier) Brent Blackwell (Kimball)) Rich Perry (Fengl) Brian VanSkyock (Tristan McKayne) Steve Horton (Sebastian Falconer) Chris Crosley (Praetor), Josh Malher (Fizzinabola), Josh Jackson (Oskarn) Synopsis: The sleepy little town of Labalna has been attacked by a viscious tribe of orcs out of the Chaos Lands. The Chaos Orcs have fled with the Bell of Yavanneh, a Holy Artifact. The group chased first Orcs then Beastmen across the plains and into a den of evil under a mountain, then through a portal to the Volcanoe Lair of the Beastmen. They recovered the Bell and the Orb of Gherbudek now journey home with it. Eurotia VI: ( 2006 - 2006 ) The Crimson Empire A short-lived campaign that may be resurrected some day. Eurotia VII: (2008 - ) The Crimson Empire II New campaign starting in 2008 fifteen years after the World Sparks campaigns. Players: Albert Lahrman (Esau, of the Flood) Riley Vickrey (Karsh) Josh Jackson (Theo Throckmorton) Brian Martin (Napper, the Merc) Synopsis: The Crinson Empire is thrown into chaos as The Great Red tries to reclaim the towns that have rebelled against him. Open war is not an option, only armed resistance. |
