Her Lament
- the sink is full
- of dirty dishes
- i'll have to wash by.....hand
- it to the repairman
- for trying to fix
- the old dish.............washer
- and dryer going
- all day long
- with the ................towels
- the heads of showered.................children
- had me up all night with belly.........aches
- in my lower back
- from moving the
- sofa and book............shelves
- another sack of..........groceries
- down the.................hatch
- on the station wagon is sticking again.
- joey junior won his..................game
- is on tonight.
- i'll order pizza
- for the guys coming......over
- my head,
- this decision didn't include...........me
- i'm okay, just tired.
- kids driving me up a.....wall
- needs painting again.
- picked up your uniforms
- from the dry cleaners,
- ironed out the...........wrinkles
- under my.................eyes
- the group of men
- around the t.v. set,
- drinking.................beer
- bellies sagging,
- wagging,
- dragging on the..........floor
- needs mopping
- up the last spill you went and.............made
- a housewife out of me.
