Aegean Islands

The Aegean Island lie along the coast of Turkey, just north of the Dodecanese Islands. The best known of these islands are Chios, Ikaria, Lesvos, Samos and Samothraki. The largest of these is Lesvos, which is the third largest in the (greater) Aegean Archipelago behind Crete and Euboea(Evia).

Lesvos is known for its Hot Springs and spas, some of which have been in use for thousands of years for the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and other alignments. Lesvos is best known as being the birthplace of the ancient poetess Sapho.
