Greece occupies the southernmost typ of the Balkan peninsula. The mainland borders with Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey and the FYROM. Greece has over 2,000 islands, found in the Ionian, Aegean and Mediterranean Seas. The population is 10.2 million, one third of the people live in Athens.
