biography:: michael halcomb  
It's
hard to believe that I'm where I am at the age of 22. It's so crazy to
look back at all of the things I've been through and seen as I've
voyaged through life, and then to look at where I'm standing now: In
front of people, singing about those times. Some of the most
special, difficult, happy, and intimate times of my life. I'm giving people a window into my life and soul through my music, and the
most amazing part about it all is--people are actually listening.
I've often thought to myself "If I had one chance to say one thing to the whole world what would it be? "I know I'd pick up my guitar and sing my heart out and my throat sore about God's love. Psalms 13:6 says, "I will sing because He has been good to me." Since becoming a Christian 4 years ago I've been mesmerized daily by Jesus and just stand in complete awe of Him and His work...especially with me! I've become a new heart and a new person and the wonderful newness passionately floods over into my music. The words of the most beautiful, extraordinary woman ever, Kristi Jones, say it best, "So I love God who not only promises to make me new once; but who also makes me re-new every single day." Everyday New--the story of my life! |
