Mao Kaiou-shin is one of the Kaiou-shins, a race of gods. For many years he is trapped inside the Zet sword. Once he is released, his is able to bestow tremendous power one someone who will sit and commune with him for an extended period of time. He performs this service for Gohan, elevating the young Saiyans power to nearly that of Super Saiyan Level 3 without any transformation. |
