Vegeta is... Goku's archenemy and his strongest ally. An arrogant, high born Saiyan, Vegeta is jealous of Goku's power, and always has wished to beat him, and yet time and time again they fight side by side against a greater evil. Vegeta came to earth with the intent of finding the dragonballs and wishing for immortality. He was defeated by Gokou, and his pride took a serious dive. From that time forward, his only goal in life was to defeat Gokou. Unfortunately, bigger problems like Frieza and Cell just kept popping up and forcing the two Saiyans to fight together. Over the years Vegeta maintained that he still intended to fight Gokou, but it just never happened. As the years passed, the veiled threats became fewer and farther between to the point where Vegeta was a full fledged good guy. |
