Yamcha entered the series in the very beginning as a desert bandit. He and his friend Puar spent their time bugging Goku and Bulma in their quest for the dragonballs. He became an ally during the fight with Pilaf, and has been ever since, excepting a brief foray into proffesional baseball. He has spent some time close to Bulma, but is generally afraid of women. |
