We, the Extraordinaiers were formed in the summer 1998 from a very nerd rock band, the Nomads. The Nomads consisted of John and Kellen, with bassist Brian Jenkins.  The Nomads losed Brian and gained Alex.  When we got Alex, we ditched the name "Nomads" and just played cover songs of Weezer, Green Day, Third Eye Blind, Funky redone Oldies, and others without really having a name (besides the temporary use of "99% Legal" and "Billy Bob Briggs and the Extraordinaires").  We started performing original music again around late '98.  John played drums and sang, Alex played bass and sang, Kellen played guitar and sang.  We gained Jaime Munoz early in to 1999.  After that, John played guitar and sang, Kellen played lead guitar and sang, Alex played bass and sang, and Jaime played the drum set.  The Extraordinaires have performed various places, recorded a couple times, and put out a live C.D.  We are now doing our own things.  John was at college, John and Kellen were playing with The Posters (and put out a great C.D.) and Kellen started his own band Epiphany (with Alex), and Alex is getting ready for college.  Jaime did Drum Corp with Santa Clara Drum Corp. last summer. Jaime is back in school.  Alex is going to BYU-Idaho!  Kellen moved to Seattle.  So right now, there are shows here and there and who plays them will be noted on the news page.
