DEAD OR ALIVE 3 – XBOX
Ok first of all I would like to point out the fact I know I will probably get many criticisms about this review due to what is going to be said next… Dead Or Alive 3 is the BEST fighting game ever!! ( criticisms to my email pls J )
Ok so im sure you have all played at least one of the game from the Dead Or Alive series. Known for its outstanding game play and. Ehm. Maturity, these games provide excellent, lengthy playing time and one hell of an addicition. Complete with some of the coolest characters ever, and of course the hottest ( no I’m referring to Bayman ) multiple stages and 4 player tag matches these games should be owned by everybody.
Each of the characters in this game have their own arsen of powerful realistic moves. The problem with the second game of the series was the familiarity of moves between some of the characters. For example, look back at the days of DOA2 and consider Bayman and Leon. There moves where almost identical. Thankfully this has been changed for the 3rd game In the series and while some of the moves may be similar most of them are unique to each of the characters.
For each character in this game there is a number of costumes to unlock. This game allows you to unlock an average of 4 for each character ( no t much compared to the 20 of the original game ) and these include things like school girl outfits, mainly designed for the sick perverted bunch.. a bit like me.. and wrestling costumes for Bass. The amount of costumes in this game was a bit of a let down and cost the game the perfect 10 I would have given it.
The Scenery in this game is by far the best looking ever in a fighting game. Fully interactive these battlegrounds are all created to give off a highly detailed, graphical masterpiece. The snow moves with your character, coconuts fall from tress and the glass after throwing your opponent through a window is extremely realistic. On one stage you can even launch your opposition out of a window and down some electric signs for one hell of a good move. This game looks almost like your playing an FMV, and that is the truth. The endings have also been created with an enormous detail level. Take Jan Lee’s ending for instance. At first me and my friend actually thought we where watch a real person, truly outstanding work.

A.I - 8 – OK so it isn’t the hardest game to finish but the
last boss can be a pain in the ass.

Sound: 9 – The sound is great. The noises when the moves connect is
pure class.

Lifespan 10 – This game will keep you playing for months. And you
will always come back to either kick your mates ass or look at some giggle.

Overall 9 – A remarkable game. I order everyone with a XBOX to get
this game… now GO!!!
