First tell us little about history of your band,from what country are you, and discography: We are an eight year old band originating from Athens, capital of Greece. So far, we have released 5 albums (the most recent is entitled Diva Futura) with the French label Holy records.

1.Who are the band members: Efthimis Karadimas: Vocals Mike Galiatsos: Guitars Phil Anton: Guitars (he is half Greek/half English) Mark Cross: Drums (he is half German/half English) We are using a session bass player for recordings as well as on stage. Also, strictly for stage performance there is one more member: she is called Ms Vega and she is doing a sort of dancing/pantomime performance while on stage.

2.How did you got your name and what does it means: The name came into our mind like that, you know, spontaneously. Its meaning is metaphorical but you can also relare it to that part of the day where sun light fades out giving space to darkness. Since the main reason why we formed this band is to express our most sacred feelings within, such a name fits best; it is like diving deep within the black of our souls and when we are coming back we write down all the "terrible" things we saw down there.

3.What music stile do you play and compare it to some similar bands: Especially our last album, Diva Futura, is very difficult to compare to other releases out in the scene right now. Generally speaking though, Nightfall is all about Gothic melodies, Dark poetry, and heavy riffs. Weird combination, isn't it?

4.Some of your favorite groups: I used to listen to bands like Accept, Judas Priest and stuff like that. You know, the so called "oldies" nowadays. Yet, Nightfall music is quite different to those "old" days since we are here to produce something "new", something "fresh" which will promote metal scene the tears to come. Repeating the old clishes is not our cup of tea!

5.Your opinion about underground and commercial music scene: The usual story,... The funny thing though, that not many people are aware of unless they play music themselves professionally, is that both scenes are based on the very same marketing principles!

6.What was the biggest success of your band: That we exist! All the rest belong to vanity's sphere...

7.How many concerts did you played and by your opinion what was the best: Pretty many; we have done few European tours and we have played with bands like Slayer, Manowar, Mercyful Fate, Paradise Lost, etc.

8.The favorite song you made and why: Each one is special to us, really! After all, "what can a mother say about her children?"

9.Where you on some local radio show (or something like that): Actually in many.

10.Do you think that underground music need more attention of media and what is your opinion about big music televisions and radio stations(such as MTV,Viva.....): I know what you mean, but on the other side that is why underground is underground!

11.Do you have support of local metal fans: Yes.

12.Plans for the future: Touring. Hope we will come in Yugoslavia as well! We haven't been there so far.
