1.Who are the band members:
The band members are : JF REY: Vocals, Rich DC: Guitars, Joel L: Drums, Moesis franck; ceasonnal bass player(we are usually 3 members).

2.How did you got your name and what does it means:
We have choose d this name just because we wanted a brutal name but not a stupid one, we wanted something very new, a strong fighters attitude, and the GURKKHAS have a very very interesting history, they come from the Nepal land, they are considered as the most terrifying soldiers, they fight in the GB arm since 1815. When they arrive in a village, they kill everything, from men to women, children, animals!!.

3.What music style do you play and compare it to some similar bands:
we play a brutal Death metal with some Black and grind touches, I honestly don't see some comparison, without maybe the Pyrexia band, we like this band a lot!!.

4.Some of your favorite groups:PIREXIA/MORBID ANGEL/VITAL REMAINS/ANATA/CORTEGE/GODLESS TRUTH/CARCASS/BOLT THROWER and tons of others.....

5.Your opinion about underground and commercial music scene:
we are not into a commercial side, we are underground since 10 years now, but we don' have anything against commercial bands, we think that everyone do what he wanna do, we respect everyone. A commercial band is of course not our cup of tea, we don't hate them, we just don't care of them, they are not important for us!!.

6.What was the biggest success of your band:
To have sold over 12.000 copies sof our first CD, which was incredible for a so young band, to have toured 07 times in all Europe, Usa and central America, to have toured & play with Sinister, Therion, Crematory, lake of tears, Vader, Krabathor, and tons of others, to have released finally what was at first only a dream for us, to play Death metal as REAL band!!.

7.How many concerts did you played and by your opinion what was the best:
we have played over 450 gigs, the best was maybe in Em Salvador in '98 during the central American tour it was really incredible because the crowd was singing the songs with us while we were playing, imagine 600 metal heads singing what you play??!!!!!.

8.The favorite song you made and why:
Personally, the fave song is "I believe", a song from the second CD, just because this song was dealing about the fact that, even we've had some serious troubles with the band, with our own life, we are still there and that we have always believed in the band!!...I love this attitude!!.

9.Where you on some local radio show (or something like that): we have participated to over 50 radios-shows two TV shows, in France and Central America, and turned 3 videos!.

10.Do you think that underground music need more attention of media and what is your opinion about big music televisions and radio stations(such as MTV,Viva.....):
>I think that MTV sucks because they only take care of trends like >Metallica and others are!!..I think that the best would be to see an underground association of labels to create a Television!!...then we cold see violent, deranging bands, not trendies!!. ...we need serious undergournders at the big jobs, then all would changes, if you have a trendy at an important job like MTV, then the programs choose will suk, they will be afraid to pass a brutal band!!.

11.Do you have support of local metal fans:
Yes, we have a good following, but it is "normal" because her we are playing since 10 years you know.., so...in the past e had a fan-club but it was a too big charge for Richard, our guitar-player, to run all things so we have closed it, it was too successful, haha!!. Now , if omsone wxanna do it for Europe or eastern or western Europe, we are ready to work with him of course!!.

12.Plans for the future:
we will record the first album, "engraved in Blood , flesh and Sols", for MASSACRE RECS, n November, out in january'2000, brutal death metal!!!, and after tour and tour again,w e have a 04 CD deal, so all is fine.

13.Say something for the end:
